Privacy policy

Electric Meter Track, previously called Bijli Hisaab, is provided by NexaWave Apps. It helps you record electricity meter readings and estimate usage. It is an independent tracking tool and is not an official electricity-provider service.
Information you provide
- Account details: username, display name, email address and your sign-in identifier. Password sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication; we do not display your password.
- App records: meter names, readings, reading dates and times, billing-cycle dates, limits and saved history.
- Preferences such as language and theme, and information you choose to send when requesting support.
Why we use this information
We use account details to sign you in, recover access and associate records with your account. Meter records are used for calculations, history, backup and synchronisation across your devices. Reading timestamps are dates and times you enter or save, not location tracking.
Storage and service providers
Cloudflare serves the app website. Google Firebase provides authentication and cloud record storage. Google sign-in is optional; username/password sign-in is also available. These providers process technical information needed to deliver their services, including network and security information, under their own terms and privacy policies.
Copies of your records, preferences and pending changes are stored in your browser on the device for offline use and recovery. App and cloud connections use HTTPS. This is encryption in transit; we do not claim that records are end-to-end encrypted.
Sharing and advertising
We do not sell your personal records. Information is processed by the service providers needed to operate the app, or disclosed where legally required. The current version does not include advertising or analytics SDKs. An advertising-enabled release will require an updated disclosure and applicable consent before advertising is enabled.
Retention and deletion
Account records are kept while you use the account. You can delete meter records inside the app. “Delete everything” clears meter records but does not delete your sign-in account. To request deletion of your account and associated cloud records, use the account deletion page. We verify account ownership before fulfilling a request. Limited information may need to be kept where required by law or to address fraud or security incidents; any applicable exception will be explained when handling the request.
Copies you previously exported or kept on other devices are not remotely erased by an account deletion request. Delete those copies yourself if you no longer need them. Browser storage on a device may remain until removed from that device.
Your choices
You can change your display name, language and theme, export a backup, delete meter records, or request account deletion. Avoid sensitive personal details when naming a meter. The app does not request location, contacts, microphone or camera access.
